"Madison" is my first and longest album. It was produced and mixed entirely on Auxy for iPad, when I knew next to nothing about making an album. I spent around 3 years just experimenting and making whatever I thought sounded good, and attempting to perfect it and sequence the songs. I started working on it a little before Covid, where I was doing a lot of self-searching. I was in a toxic relationship that lasted too long: I was trapped in my relationship and in my own head. This album is about finding and loving myself through all the mess, and pushing towards change. It's definitely amateurish, but it's kind of a beautiful and grand mess of a Trip-Hop album in my eyes.
